Noriko Sakamoto began her career as a television editor on the Emmy Award Winning Trauma: Life in the ER. In the past 15 years, she has edited a variety of non-scripted shows, including Say Yes to the Dress for TLC, and Biography for A&E.
After 10 years of studying at the Tachibana school of Ninon Buyo (Classical Japanese Dance), Noriko co-produced and edited The Heron and the Geisha: A Life in Dance, a short documentary about her Grand Master, Yoshie Tachibana. She has recently made the transition into narrative with the feature film Year by the Sea (2016).
Noriko loves to create compelling stories, and enjoys working with the scientists and scholars at YHouse to make interesting videos about the study of consciousness.
